چکیده

In this paper, a method was developed in relation to the north-western coast of Black Sea order determine optimal model run from regional climate models ensemble.
As result change, which has been observed since late 1980s Ukraine, various natural objects changes have also transformed. The study such future is possible only by using runs global or models. Moreover, step spatial grid must be comparative with size object under study.
Sea, change characterized increasing aridity and corresponding decrease freshwater inflows into coastal lagoons their catchments, making ecosystems these sensitive vulnerable change. Using numerical impact on requires input hydrometeorological information points, distance between should correspond horizontal lagoons, i.e. several kilometers.

Despite sufficiently large estuaries, allowed selection run, shows significant differences spring summer as well year-around southern northern parts northwestern region. This relationship Sea.

Objective Bayes model selection in probit models.

We describe a new variable selection procedure for categorical responses where the candidate models are all probit regression models. The procedure uses objective intrinsic priors for the model parameters, which do not depend on tuning parameters, and ranks the models for the different subsets of covariates according to their model posterior probabilities. When the number of covariates is moder...

21st century changes in the European climate: uncertainties derived from an ensemble of regional climate model simulations

climate model (RCM) simulations for 1961–2100. The RCM takes boundary conditions from seven global climate models (GCMs) under four emission scenarios. One GCM was run three times under one emission scenario differing only in initial conditions. The ensemble is used to; (i) evaluate the simulated climate for 1961–1990, (ii) assess future climate change and (iii) illustrate uncertainties in futu...

Identification of Linear Climate Models from the CMIP3 Multimodel Ensemble

In this paper, we investigate an ensemble of atmosphere–ocean general circulation models (AOGCMs) participating in phase 3 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP3), and whose dynamic behavior is emulated by the reduced-complexity climate model MAGICC6. Using a superimposed impulse in solar radiative forcing for the purposes of system identification, we identify 12 AOGCMs in the CMIP...

A spatial analysis of multivariate output from regional climate models

Climate models have become an important tool in the study of climate and climate change, and ensemble experiments consisting of multiple climate-model runs are used in studying and quantifying the uncertainty in climate-model output. However, there are often only a limited number of model runs available for a particular experiment, and one of the statistical challenges is to characterize the di...

Observation-based Blended Projections from Ensembles of Regional Climate Models

We consider the problem of projecting future climate from ensembles of regional climate model (RCM) simulations using results from the North American Regional Climate Change Assessment Program (NARCCAP). To this end, we develop a hierarchical Bayesian space-time model that quantifies the discrepancies between different members of an ensemble of RCMs corresponding to present day conditions, and ...
